SCIERRA FLY FISHING - PART II

After leaving my position as Head Designer at Scierra and moving to Iceland in 2008, I was reconnected with Scierra and did a few projects in 2010 on freelance and consulting basis before starting a new adventures with Simms.

I was hired to give Scierra a full make-over after. Marketing material is the communication channel to the consumer and where to start connecting. The main catalog and adverts was in for a huge make-over. I made a unique picture style along with the raw modern cool "street look". I risk but like me first round with Scierra, I believe you need to stand out and the competition has grown dramatically since 2000.
I also introduced an icon with a “S” and a fish silhouette swimming trough it. Having an icon is a must. Not only to adapt to mobil devices but there are also endless options for implementing it into as a recognition symbol in both product- and graphic design. - Nike, Apple, need to say more?
I also was asked to do a few more fly reels which was launched in 2021.
